Method 3: Apply Hydrogen Peroxide

You can apply hydrogen peroxide to the area. Dab the cloth in the solution.

Hydrogen peroxide breaks down organic stains like blood and disinfects them, too.

Wait a few minutes then blot the area with a clean towel.

Apply it again to remove more of the stain.

Then place the garments in the washing machine.

Wash The Fabric

With one of the previous methods, try to remove the mark beforehand to give it an extra hand in cleaning.

Lastly, wash the fabric in the washer with an enzymic laundry soap.

Wash the garment in hot water if the garment care directions allow.

How to Remove Blood Stains from Carpet

You can do it yourself with a spot stain removing machine or a carpet cleaning machine.

Add hydrogen peroxide or the carpet cleaning solution into the water in the tank.

For dried-on blood stains, you’ll need to go over the spot a few times. It’s easy to do with these machines that work like your vacuum cleaner.

For spot stain, use a stain remover spray bottle.

Simply spray to apply and blot with a towel.

Launder the towel right away or you will also need to spray the towel with the stain remover at a later date.

These steps will make sure the bloodstains are removed from the fabric.
