Sunlight is the ultimate solution to kill any kind of germ and bacteria. Before cleaning the toys, place them in the open sun for a few hours.
Use your backyard or balcony to keep the toys. The UV ray will be enough to kill all the germ and disinfect the baby toys.
After that, you can go through the regular cleaning process.
There are a few sensitive toys that might not be possible to clean in a washing machine or dishwasher, use sunlight to disinfect them.

Take a particular piece of toys and see if there is anything written related to boiling. If it allows, then you can boil the toys.
Also, the toys that your kid continuously puts in their mouth need to be disinfected. Take a large pan and fill it with water.
After boiling, take a tong to carefully bring them out.

Add 30 drops of lavender or lemon essential oil. After making the mixture, pour it in a spray bottle and let it sit for 3 minutes.
Spray on the baby toys and clean the toys with a piece of cloth. That is how you easily sanitize your baby toys.
I particularly find this method very effective and safe, as I don’t need to use any harsh chemicals.
5. Use soap and bleach to disinfect with care
You can also try using soap and bleach to clean the baby’s toys. But you should be very careful during the process.
At first, clean the toys with soapy water. Make sure to remove soap residue and clean properly. Then, take a large bowl and fill it with cold water.
Then add one tablespoon of bleach in the cold water. Make sure not to use more than one tablespoon of bleach in a gallon of water.
Now, it is time for the toys to get soaked. Wait for around 15 minutes. Now, remove the toys one by one.
There is no need to wipe the toys. Simply let them air dry. Don’t let your kid come near while you clean the toys.
Because bleach is a strong cleaning component that can be harmful while exposing to kids, it is one of those methods I only use to deep clean the toys.
6. Disinfect the wooden toys with vinegar
You cannot use soap and water to clean the wooden toys, that would definitely be a stupid thing to do.
