If you love baking, you probably know how hard it is to organize these baking supplies. It is quite hard to keep all the supplies in one place because of the difference in sizes and types.
You will have sprinkles, cookie cutters, baking pans, whiskers, and whatnot. You need solid planning to store all these baking supplies.
I love to bake, and it annoys me greatly when I do not find the things I look for to bake. As I have a lot of things in my kitchen, it is quite hard to organize all the baking supplies with so much going on.
Luckily after researching for some time and talking with my mother, I found some innovative ideas to organize my baking supplies.
I am sharing with you these baking supplies organization ideas, and I hope these will help you in one way or another.
10 Easy Ways to Organize Baking Supplies
1. Build a custom cabinet for your baking sheetsÂ
One thing you can do is to make a custom cabinet to store all of your baking sheets. When you pile up the baking sheets normally in a cabinet, it can be quite inconvenient.
Also, it will take a lot of space to do so. Rather, add a few wooden structures in the cabinet, or you can use strong cardboards if you don’t want to spend too much.
The compartments will help you to organize the baking sheets easily.
2. Store baking ingredients in Mason jars
I cannot get enough of these Mason jars. I have a few Mason jars that I have kept to store my baking ingredients.
For example, I keep sugar, chocolate chips, butter, milk, flour, all these in separate mason jars. As a result, I don’t need to look for them while I bake.
It helps me to get all the ingredients from one place.
3. Organize your baking tools in a rolling cartÂ
Baking is tough, and it needs a lot of baking tools. Rather than keeping them in separate places, store all of your baking tools in one place.
Keep your hand mixer, blender, whiskers, mixing bowls, etc. all in one place. You might not have enough space in your cabinets. That is why purchase a rolling cart and organize all the things there.
You can also change the place of the rolling cart and keep it in the living area.
4. Hang the measuring cups and spoons in a cabinet drawer
Fix a cabinet drawer to store the measuring cups and spoons. You can do it in several ways. You can install a rod and hang all the spoons and cups there.
On the other hand, you can install a few command hooks to hang all the measuring cups and spoons. I have labeled the door so that I know which cup or spoon measures what.
You can also use a container to store all the spoons and cups; it’s up to you.
5. Use a Mason jar to store the colorful cupcake linersÂ
When you keep the cupcake liners in a cabinet, they will become ruined. You need something solid to hold the cupcake liners.
I use a Mason jar to hold all of my cupcake liners. They fit perfectly in a Mason. Keep the Mason jar in a rolling cart.
6. Attach a pegboard to store baking items in the kitchen
You can also attach a pegboard in the kitchen wall. Use the pegboard to store the spoons, baking sheets, spatulas, whiskers, etc.
Store the little tools and accessories in the pegboard. It will save you a lot of space from your kitchen cabinet. You can also hang the items that do not weigh much.
7. Label all of the baking suppliesÂ
Labeling might be the primary feature of organizing anything. If you do not label the items you are storing, you will find a hard time while working.
I have a label maker, and I label almost everything along with the baking supplies. The containers that I use to store milk, sugar, flour, etc. all have labels on them.
It makes it so much easier while I bake. I believe labeling makes it easier to organize and store everything. Even if you do not have label makers, print the labels from your computers.
8. Store all the tiny bottles in a trayÂ
It is hard to organize small items. There is no need to use large containers for this. Use a tray to store all the tiny bottles related to baking.
You can also use a Turntable from the Lazy Susan. These types of trays will hold all of your little items in one place.
9. Make a separate container for the cookie cutters
If you bake regularly, I am sure you have tons of cookie cutters. I love to collect cookie cutters. I cannot resist when I see those cute little things.
That is why I use a large plastic container for all my cookie cutters. The container is quite big, and it holds a lot of them together.
You can also hang the cookie cutters in a pegboard, as I said earlier. That is how the cookie cutters will be visible.
10. Use a spice rack to store the sprinklesÂ
Purchase a spice rack to organize all of your sprinkles. I already have a spice rack in my kitchen. That is why I installed another one in my pantry.
I use those little containers that come with the spice rack to store all of the sprinkles. As the containers are transparent, they look so good from the outside; it makes me happy just looking at them.
If you don’t want to spend too much on a spice rack, you can purchase one from the dollar store. They have different types of spice racks, which are quite cheap.
These are the ways how I like to organize my baking supplies. As I love to cook, I always prefer to organize my kitchen.
Also, baking is one of the favorite things I like to do. However, I am looking forward to hearing from you about what you think about these baking supply organization ideas.
